I met this client during the 2025 arts and crafts fair. He is a gemstone enthusiast who clearly enjoys wearing them as much as giving them. Interested in the volumes of the “Rythmes” rings, he immediately thought of a beautiful light baguette-cut sapphire that could fit into the proportions of these creations. The design of the “Rythmes” collection allows me a lot of adaptation while keeping the initial spirit of the collection.

With an appointment set for early 2026, we began with conceptual sketches, followed by a more precise drawing and a quote. Once the choice was made, I carved the wax to create the volume for the future silver casting. Another meeting followed, as the wax fitting stage is crucial for this style of creation. It allows us to check the comfort of a high-volume ring and its harmony with the hand.

And then: sending the wax, receiving the casting, working on the volume and textures in the workshop, preparing the setting and setting the sapphire… and delivery to the gallery. Finally… The client was delighted, and so was I 🙂
