Sometimes inspiration or materials lead you to create a special piece of jewelry... Unlike other designs that dream of large families, this one doesn’t need them… or a few sisters at most… it needs to be unique to retain its power and poetry.

“Unique” can mean many things:

– Unique in its inspiration and design; there will be a maximum of seven pieces, and they will be numbered.

– Unique in its exceptional material, which gives the piece a distinctive character—a material that may even be the inspiration behind the creation of this unique piece.

– Unique because I decide there will only be one, and its impact is significant.

– Unique within a jewelry collection, such as the “L’échappée” brooches, where I rethink the proportions or assembly for each piece, or, as with the “Feuillage” mother-of-pearl brooches, where I let myself be guided by the entire collection of mother-of-pearl and redesign the piece around this fundamental theme of foliage.

I do not consider a piece of jewelry “unique” if its only distinguishing feature is a change in the material of the pearl or its stone. As long as the design is the same, it’s a variation or a variation, and that’s perfectly fine too.
